About me

I'm Wassim Becheikh, a Full Stack Developer and DevOps with a background in software engineering.I enjoy building applications from backend logic to frontend interfaces and automating everything in between with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.I’ve worked with technologies such as Spring Boot, Symfony, Angular, React, along with Jenkins, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, SonarQube, and I'm always eager to explore and learn new tools, frameworks, and best practices to improve my craft.Currently, I’m looking for exciting opportunities where I can grow, collaborate, and contribute to impactful projects.

Email Deliverability Monitoring Tool Orange

A web-based platform for monitoring and analyzing email transmission logs.
Built for Orange’s internal mail infrastructure, the platform allows administrators to visualize email activity of clients who obtained their email domains through Orange.

Currency exchange rate management website (BH Bank)

Redesign of the bank’s internal currency exchange rate management platform.
The goal was to modernize the user interface, improve performance, and introduce new features that would simplify daily operations for bank staff and clients.

Spring Boot & JAVA

I have over 4 years of studying and developing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Together, they enabled me to create robust and scalable backend applications. Spring Boot’s convention-over-configuration approach, combined with its powerful ecosystem, allows me to build efficient RESTful APIs, handle data persistence, and implement security features quickly and reliably.

Angular & React & Frontend Technologies

I have over 4 years of studying and developing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Together, they enabled me to create robust and scalable backend applications. Spring Boot’s convention-over-configuration approach, combined with its powerful ecosystem, allows me to build efficient RESTful APIs, handle data persistence, and implement security features quickly and reliably.I have over 3 years of learning and working with both React and Angular to develop dynamic, responsive single-page applications. These frameworks enable me to build modular, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces tailored to project requirements.
Combined with my strong skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, I deliver clean, maintainable code that integrates seamlessly with backend APIs to ensure smooth and efficient user experiences.

PHP & Symfony

Throughout my projects,and with PHP & Symfony I have implemented features such as routing, security, and database interactions, ensuring clean code and strong application performance. My PHP skills complement Symfony development, enabling me to deliver reliable server-side solutions.

Databases

I have worked extensively with both relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
I am proficient in designing efficient database schemas, writing optimized queries, and managing data integrity and security.
My experience includes integrating databases with backend applications, ensuring smooth data flow and reliable persistence, as well as using tools for backup, migration, and performance tuning.

DevOps Tools

I have worked with tools like Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment, Ansible for infrastructure automation, Docker for containerization, and Grafana for real-time monitoring and visualization.
I have also utilized other technologies such as Prometheus for metrics collection, SonarQube for code quality analysis, and Trivy for security scanning.
These tools have enabled me to build efficient, automated pipelines and maintain reliable, scalable infrastructure to support application development and deployment.
